Our management company, FirstService Residential is responsible for the day-to-day operation of The Lakes Association. They manage all aspects of our business. They coordinate activities of the contractors and sub subcontractors that perform work for the Association. They collect assessments, prepare checks, process credit card payments and maintain our books. They handle all phone calls; prepare, mail and read all correspondence; attend meetings; keep all records up to date; prepare the minutes from various meetings; and comply with the lawful provisions of our governing documents. Management also keeps us informed of new developments in the management of common interest communities, including, new developments in legal and accounting principals. This is a big undertaking.
